Saye theater workshop to get to know Silviu Purcarete, the Romanian director

During October and November 2022, Saye theater group, held a workshop in Tehran in result of 6 months of research on the works of Romanian theater director Silviu Purcarete to know this director. In this workshop, which was held in 6 weekly sessions at Degar House, the theaters films of Faust, Metamorphosis, Gulliver’s Travels and Oedipus from Purcarete were shown and followed by group discussions about performing and directing methods in a radical theatrical adaptation. Regarding the material of this workshop, Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu also contributed significantly. This non-profit and free workshop was held under the supervision of Mehdi Mashhour and Sara Rasoulinejad and with the participation of members of the Saye Theater: Benyamin Esbati, Mina Zaman, Fahime Hormozi, Sajieh Ashuri and Sahar Saba.
