Friday, 7th of June to Monday 10th of June 2019 in Abtenau

The international theatre and cultural festival “Abtenau ist Bühne” took place from 7th to 10th June 2019 in Abtenau, Austria.

Saye Theatre participated in the festival with The Silent House, written and directed by Mehdi Mashhour and performed by Shiva Makinian and Benjamin Esbati.

The event was organized by the Theater Abtenau and the Salzburg Amateur Theatre Association under the theme “Theatre – the language of the people.”

The festival brought together theatre productions for adults and children, readings, lectures, music, dance, and exhibitions across different venues in the town of Abtenau.

The main venue for the theatre productions was the professionally equipped Theater Abtenau, alongside other venues and performances throughout the town.
