The Maids

The Maids is a play by French dramatist Jean Genet. The production was directed by Mehdi Mashhour and performed by Somaye Shoghi and Mona Shams.

Set within Genet’s world of role-playing, class tension and shifting identities, the production explored the relationship between the two maids through a physical and performance-driven approach.
