Iran Saye Theatre holds a thought-provoking seminar exploring the intersection of today Iran alternative theatre and politics. ( June 29th – July 4th 2024)

Through a series of presentations, discussions, and analyses, we’ll delve into the ways in which performance can challenge dominant narratives, expose hidden truths, and ignite social change. From the underground theatre movements of Iran and Japan to the innovative strategies of “disturbing theatre,” we’ll explore how performance can act as a powerful tool for resistance, questioning, and ultimately, transformation. This seminar is for anyone interested in the role of art in shaping our world, the potential of theatre as a catalyst for change, and the power of performance to challenge the status quo.
